Carn, or maybe Curu ???

Have a seat, have a drink, walk among friends, all of this can be done in the Golden Griffon, Titan's official tavern.

Carn, or maybe Curu ???

I saw some posts, by Carn, in DC, saying your traffic is down. Well, I have a thought on that matter. Have you concidered a change from phpbb to phpnuke ?? Of all the clans in DC, I think Titan is the most suited to benifit from a move to phpnuke.
If you are unaware of phpnuke, it's what New Dawn uses. It is a "portal" vs. being just a forum. Phpbb is part of it, so you can import all your forum stuff, but the modules are what really shine. I could easily see you guys building a faq quickly with all the info that Titan has just laying around. Bryn, and some others, have learned stuff about DC that a lot of people would love to know. It would be easy to input that into phpnuke.
Some of the other modules are news, which would be good for Titan awards, etc., reviews, which could be used for whatever you want, and also polls, heck, there is even a gallery.
Anyway, just a thought. If you want to know more just let me know. To see phpnuke, as we implement it, just follow the link in my sig. Oh, btw, I stopped the spambots at my site. I can talk to you guys about that also. :)

Peace,

Bob

Actually, I did consider using a phpnuke, but only briefly. Yes, it would give us all that and a bag of chips, but at the moment the phpBB software gives us what we need. Also, we do have someone working on a complete "portal-like" website system that will (hopefully) be integrated with the forums anyway. :)

Excellent. I am taking a class in html myself, atm. I kind of plan on building my own portal type thingy too. Maybe we can compare notes. :) Btw, if you want some more emotes, just let me know. Tammy has tons of sites bookmarked.

Peace,

Bob
