they speak thai, not mandarin. hehehe... my mandarin is not up to speed, not even close to my thai

Sure, they speak Thai in Thailand :wink: ... but Taiwan is a completely different place. My dad lived in Taiwan for 2 years and he's fluent in Mandarin Chinese. :)

Lucky! I'm not gonna lie, I chose Thailand as my destination post-graduation simply for the fact I've practiced their martial arts forever (and maybe cause i've visited several times and love that place and the people lol)

What was he doing there?
