Like a coat from the cold.

:Lemac looked about the room as she closed the door behind her, and removed her long winter coat from her shoulders draping it over one arm. She noticed a good number of new faces, and a few she knew. She gave a small nod to each she knew as she walked towards the fire place in the coner. With a smile she draped her coat over the back of the chair and sat down, waiting for a server to approch.:

(I would take the time out of my night to write an RP response, Lemac, but A: Zuka is dead, and B: I'm working on a project.

So...here's an OOC hello to you.)

by Milton
The shadowy sockets of Milton’s eyes turned up as the door opened, for once. As the fire’s light hit his face however, he had no grim expression of the shadows as he glanced over the girl who entered.

Instead, it was one of the flames – hot from his grin to his always watching eyes. It was good to be back. For the most part.

He still had no money from the last time he enjoyed many drinks. And to think, the buzz had to be tossed away because it was an ‘offense’ to be drunk in public. Laws could be so pathetic. Even if the lawmen there weren’t biased like usual.

Milton was clean now though, his robes without the stench of horse water or mud that was there before.

If he didn’t see Blythe today to tell him about what had happened and to pass on the words he was told to, then that would be fine. Now that this girl was here, there was a chance to have something to watch. It had been so boring in the tavern so far.

The eyes that shoot daggered questions

(OOC: Well, with all that is going on and has been going on it's rare to find such free moments I have suddenly gained. So hello to all that have said hello so far. Curu, I know I need to stop by more often and be more active, but wtih Kids, and a resurged Guild Wars addaction it's hard. Ominous, Zuka, good to see you again as well. Zuka, sorry to hear about the death of Zuka, but now Lemac can breath a bit easier. Somthing about Necromancers spook her. Ok and now back the scheduled RP.)

:Lemac looked about the room, she had only been here for a short time and already the eyes fell upon her. She could hear the mutterings of thouse about her. She tried to close her mind to them, but the road here was long and hard, even for the magic of her carriage. She wanted to stand up and shout, Yes I am the Courtesan Lemac Samporna and I have come for a visit. But that would rude and she was the guest here after all. Part of her wished for her personal envoy, another for her swordmaster. But both where busy with other duties. She rested her hand on her belly and let out a small sigh. Somethings where to be sacrificed for a time, needed to be for a time. She again looked about the room wondering when the bar maid would pass by.:

Joe strolled in with a bit of weary relief. It had been a long last few weeks that he'd been away from home again. It was a bit quiet tonight, not many patrons had showed up yet, and the barmaid was nowhere in sight. Maybe just grabbing something from the back.

Joe first noticed Milton. He'd seen the man here before, always watching. A bit creepy really, and now he was watching... Joe turned to see the object of Milton's gaze. A petit and beautiful red head. She looked vaguely familiar, but Joe couldn't place her. Joe'd met many people since coming to Titan less than three years ago. Nevertheless, a welcome was in order.

Since no one was there at the moment, Joe walked around the bar and grabbed two glasses and one of the finest bottles of wine he could find, leaving a gold piece in the tip jar. He then walked casually up to the woman and said, "Welcome to Titan, I'm Joe, a sometimes ambassador here. Could I interest you in a glass of wine and a bit of conversation?"

A Company

:Lemac kept a hand on her stomac, as she looked about. The unfiltered thoughts slowly fading into the night air. She was looking at the fire when Joe approched. He spooked her a bit when he intoduced himself as she looked back to room, only to see the one empty spot now filled with something.:

"Merry Meet, Master Joe. Ah wine..."

:Lemac looked to her stomac, sacraficed for a time.:

"I would love the wine, but I must pass tonight due my current condition. I thank you for the offer, but a simple juice will have to pass my lips tonight. By the way I am the Courtesan Lemac Samporna, Head of the House Samporna. Please have a seat, the company would be galdly welcomed."

:Lemac gestured with her free hand to a chair across from her.:

Master. Joe grinned. "Joe is fine, I'm no master." ... he looked to her stomach, "Then we'll both have juice tonight." Joe looked over his shoulder before sitting down and noticed a barmaid finally emerging from the doors behind the bar. "Ah, here we go," he motioned to the barmaid to come over. "Pardon me, this wine is ... not to my liking, bring us a bottle of your finest juice instead." he said with a wink. He then turned and sat accross from Lemac. "It is a pleasure to meet you. I've heard of you, from before I came to Titan. Have you come back to stay or is this just a visit?"

A very tame-looking wolf with deep blue eyes lay in the corner watching Lemac make herself known in the tavern. His tail wagged at the sight of face not seen by his eyes before and she seemed as though she had been to Titan before. James decided to meet someone new for once and thusly he rose upon his four feet and plodded over next to the Couresan and sat upon his hind quarters with his eyes looking up to her face. The wolfish grin he had greeted her warmly and his tail wagged lightly with merriment of the occasion.

:Lemac waited for Joe to sit.:

"It's been a long time between my last leave of these halls to tending to matters of the family. I am suprised that my name is still spoken of around here. But I could be here for a time, it depends on other matters beyond my control. So think of this as an extened visit. Oh my....."

:Lemac looked a bit shocked at the wolf that suddenly sat down in front or her. She looked to Joe and seem a bit confused. She reached down and getnly scratched betwwen the Wolfs ears.:

"Well what is this, are you over you own or do you belong to one of the other patrons of this establishment. Can you even understand what I am teling you."

:She looked back to Joe.:

"So who does this Wolf belong to?"

Joe looked down at the wolf that wandered up, recognizing him as the one that always follows zipcat around. "Oh, James here doesn't belong to anyone. zipcat says he's actually a boy, though I don't know that I've ever seen him as such. Aparantly he transforms with the full moon. Kind of the opposite of a werewolf I guess. Don't worry though, he's quite harmless. At least, he's never caused any trouble yet. And zip tells me he's something of a vegetarian."

James' head cocked slightly when he noticed that Lemac was startled at his appearance. The wolf returned his head to its normal position and he let his tongue hang out a bit just for a more friendly touch. The woman reached out and patted his head and as such James' tongue returned inside its mouth, his eyes closed and his head moved upwards with Lemac's hand. When she finished his eyes opened again to look up at her, at which point she asked if he could understand her. The wolf visibly nodded at the Courtesan's remarks and almost seemed to smile greatly.

Of course, he couldn't explain anything else. James was now ready to go lay back in the corner and so with a wink he left and curled back up where he was a few minutes earlier.

"Ah, I see. Well he seems nice enough."

:Lemac watched as the wolf went back to the corner and laid back down. Lemac understood the wolf's responce to her question. She smiled as she looked back to Joe.:

"I have a question for you Joe, has anyone seen or heard from Ebon Ashe, Carn, or Twist recently. They are a few old friends of mine that I was hoping to see durring my visit here."

:Lemac looked about the room, which seem to had calmed a bit to her being here. She didn't she her friends when she entered, but then again she was in a rush to get to the fire place.:

OOC: Never been much for rp, but I wanted to say hello. :) Hope you are well. It is good to see you still kicking about here and there. Not many older players left anymore.

Peace,

Bob
