Who has seen Pirates: At World's End?

I'm going to see it shortly, but I thought it would be a good idea to put up a thread about how awesome the movie is... and how it kicks way more booty than ninja movies. I know deep down inside, everyone's inner ninja knows that pirates are more cool! hehe.

Take off your ninja masks for a couple hours and watch a pirate movie! Yarr!

Is this a "The End" movie? That would be kind of nice for the movie franchise because after 3 movies, most tend to get bad or worn out. Disney did a surprisingly exceptional job with the second one (which to me is actually quite rare for them).

I may be a ninja inside, but I still enjoy pirates.

They leave it open for a fourth pirates movie at the end. I've no doubt they'll take their time and do some careful planning and writing and filming for Pirates 4 (if they really do go through with it).

I have to say I LOVED the 3rd movie more than the second... but the second film did set up some exciting scenes for the 3rd film.

One thing I didn't like was some of the old jokes from the first and second movie popped up again... they're starting to get old. Though, they can still pull off some of the jokes without them being old... for example at the end... well, I wouldn't want to spoil it for you.

Also, stay through the credits. There's a brief scene at the end of the film!

Here here!

I loved Johnny Depp in some of his old films. Great actor. Personally dislike him as a person, but - he's human, right?

Anyways, off track. I've no plans to go see At World's End. Personally, it's getting a bit old. I think I'll go watch something like TMNT :P

Ok I saw the movie and it was really good. It was funny and exciting as well as good at keeping with their theme without getting boring.

"Nobody move, I think I dropped my brain." XD

I hear that Depp wasn't too happy with it though..

I think Depp wasn't too happy with it because he was bored acting like a pirate. He's better doing weird movies like Edward Scissorhands or Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Creepy.

I luved the movie Gilbert Grape. The one w/ young Leonard di Caprio and Johnny Depp. Such a good movie.

I liked Depp's character in "Benny and June"... he stabs a fork into two rolls and then "dances" with them. He was a decent Ichabod Crane and a good detective in "From Hell"... he's done some great movies.

There was a lot of double crossing at the end of "World's End"... I almost couldn't keep it straight.

Depp might not have liked the movie because he may want to do other things... and also because critics aparently didn't like it. Blah!

it was entertaining. I don't think it was a masterpiece though. the first pirates was by far the best one. i think they went a bit too far into the unbelievable factor after that though. at worlds end was still good, just as an entertaining, something to do today movie.

now that new ninja movie that came out was awesome. I know no one saw it because it was such a sneaky movie, but, I got the chance because I, of course, being a ninja was able to catch it each time it tried to hide. (and no, I'm not talking about TMNT)

I gotta watch this film, and also that new TMNT that's coming out, or is it out already?

TMNT has been and is almost gone, T. Critics didn't like it (wasn't like the previous live-action films)... but comic fans LOVED it since it's just like the comic books.
