Just finished reading it... I am extremely satisfied with what Rowling has done and wanted everyone to know that she is an extremely talented writer that has managed to invoke many emotions within me simulataneously... especially those of anger and sadness.
Step 1: Kill Sirius Black, James' #1 favorite character.
Step 2: Kill Dumbledore, James' #3 favorite character.
Step 3: Kill (name removed), James' #2 favorite character.
Step 4: Kill (name removed), James' #4 favorite character.
It's surprising that I have a penchant for picking characters who end up DEAD. lol.
Anyone else read the book? What did you think? I was surprised that the name of the book had a lot less to do with the overarching story than it seemed, but in reality I think it bound together the entire meaning of the book well. Whee.

It was a good book that tied things up well. The epilogue wasn't as good as it was hyped to be, though.
Should we make this a spoiler thread or not? All my other commentary involves spoilers.

My #3 is the person who saves everyone at Lucius manor.
My #4 has a baby.
You'll know who they are if you read the book.
Should we really make it a spoiler thread? I dunno. Tell me if I should and I'll edit the name.
I actually thought the epilogue was alright. I didn't hear any hype because I don't pay attention to rabid fan talk. lol. I've heard a lot about Rowling, but not from fans, just in the news... makes me wonder if there's anything she's going to do with the HP world anymore.

Do it like this:
Snape out to be Harry's FATHER
but what he doesn't realize is that James is Snape's BROTHER
while Ginny realizes Harry is her STEP-BROTHER via Tom Riddle's infedelity with PROFESSOR MCGONAGALL
Not that any of that stuff is true. But you get my point. That's about as close as I can get it to the background color (if Curu would be so nice to provide the coding color, I think we could use that to cover possible spoilers)
CuruEdit: Just so you know, black text is perfectly readable if someone is using the subSilver or Titan Test themes. There is an mod I could use that actually hides the text enclosed in spoiler tags. There just hasn't been a reason to install it before now.

Chesh: Only if they read the 7th book, I talk about events that happened during the book. I suppose if they're about to read the part I refer, then sure, they'll know it, but not soon after they'll find the characters dead. So there. :X

Okay, are we ready for some SPOILERS?!
Did anyone think the inclusion of Charity Burbage was somewhat extraneous? (Okay, not a GOOD spoiler, but it could technically be one...even though she dies the first time you turn the page.)

Can we stay away from spoilers for a while? At least until I have the spoiler BBCode added?

See, this is why my spoiler is from page 3. Because that does NOT count as a spoiler I could get killed for.
It'd be like calling King Hamlet's death a spoiler. Or saying that Rosencrantz and Guildenstern don't die in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead.
