My dilema for today:

My AIM (ewww...Triton) crashed my computer earlier today. It devoured so much memory that my computer had to be rebooted. After that it wouldn't boot up, stating that it needed the Hard Boot Disk or something like that. In my infinite wisdom, I let my dad solve the problem. The problem: the power supply cable was faulty and it damaged the Master Bootup Record.

AKA: I couldn't start up the computer.

So, after many excrutiating and horrible hours without internet, we finally got it working and now my internet withdrawal symptoms have gone away.

So...anyone want to point me to where I can get another version of AIM that isn't Triton?

Blargh, what was that site that has old outdated programs for download? I can't remember where it is but there was a place where you could download every version of AIM or MSN EVER.

I've been away from the internet too long. I even forgot most of the HTML I knew...and apparently how to sign into a forum.

His name is tordek
He likes to gig
Making a song about him makes him bick
Saying his name might make u sick
And it will also make him tick
But at least he enjoys chick flick
He never said we can call him Rick

If that doesn't work.... I've gotten in the habbit of saving old files (I have old, old winamp files and AIM 3.2 to 5.whatever)... so if you need, I can always forward an old program your way.

Does anyone know anything about Trillian? I've heard it's amazing. Confirmation?

I heard similar, and at first loved Trillian, I really did, then an update occured and I found it simply unworkable.

Better luck to you.
