need advice on Computers!

need some help on deciding which laptop to get!

HP PAVILION DV1680CA INTEL CORE DUO T2400 1.83GHZ 1024MB/100GB DVD+/-RW 56K/10-100 WLAN 14.1 INCH TFT WINDOWS XP HOME

OR...

HP PAVILION DV5140CA AMD TURION ML-37 2.0GHZ 2048MB/120GB DVD+/-RW 56K/10-100 WLAN 15.4 INCH TFT WINDOWS XP MEDIA CENTER


Well... hope its a clear enough desription for all those computees out there

The second one.

Works best especially if it runs Linux instead of XP. Preferably the latest version of Slackware with either the programming languages BASH or Perl. Or if you're a n00b with programming, then go with RedHat. Or if you're even more of a n00b, then stick with Windows.

Bluetooth is only useful if you need to interface with other wireless devices. For the most part, you don't really need it.

I know I've never needed it.

definately the second computer

And bluetooth is getting more useful but it's not necessary. If you have the money go for it but if your on a limited budget save the money for something else. Like and adobe program suite. WAAAY better than microsoft, more complicated but you can do more professional stuff with the adobe programs. (and I'm not just talkin photoshop)

mmm..... guess i'll have to keep on replacing the AMD chips lol
