I'm looking to join this guild soon...as referred by my bud Virm.
I took his startup strategy...and I'm impressed:

made level 2 with tithing...giving me 43 quests...i got a mask that was from a wheel...giving me over 1k marks...upgraded equipment.
made level 3 at 38 quests, 4 at 39 quests (somehow pulled a level with only 2 quests used up!), 5 at 31 quests, and level 6 stung me down to 17 quests...but what luck...i made level 7 at 6 quests left. Virm is da bomb!

oh...i upped my strength, wits and charm to all 7's before entering town.

I can feel myself gettin addicted to this game....any extra pointers will help for getting good stuff and questing tomorrow...I'd enjoy any pointers for day 2.... Hope you guys are cool...Virm said ya'll are! - Jirus

Welcome to the board then, future Titan.

It sounds like you're doing well in DC, and there are a lot of things that'll help you here.

The people here are great, so I'm sure you'll make friends quickly.

Personally, I get 3 trader skill so that running away (sometimes) doesn't take up a quest.

Sage is always helpful to newbies, but you dont need it yet in the game. You need it for the god mounds and the mountain (wyverns), and all the places on the docks.

not to mention, sage costs quite a bit of stats.
