if u play alot or are inclined to be the best climbing the ranks or killing the dragon without a root combo. the latter being my goal. neway it seems that cg's r more rare, i only have the dragon left and things r still hitting me so defense is my objective and im gonna assume its urs too

Crystal Gauntlets are extremely rare. It's very possible for you to hunt them for months and never find one.
