Mandrake Root

I have a site which tells what all items do, and for Mandrake Root it says; "refills one quest point". i used a few when it let me in battle, and when i press it, it attacks. No quest point was refilled, BUT ive lost 9 wits by using it and i dont know how to get the Wit back(cure disease, seltzer, etc). Anyone know what im talking about? Also, whats Tithe do besides waste money?

Mandrake Roots haven't restored quests in several months now. That was one of the changes Fred made a version or two ago. The Wits will be restored on next day. Mandrake Roots heal 200 Guts, do a Berzerk attack, and deduct 3 Wits temporarily.

Tithing grants you the inverse of the square of your level in experience points per Mark spent. For example, a level 14 character will have to spend $196 marks tithing to get one experience point.
