If so, I might be able to prove that I killed Evil Fred a long time ago
I moved the Q here...hope you don't mind

Yes, that's fine, but quite honestly I'd like to know the answer.
Someone should go to the URL for me and see if they can find Sir_James, that was my character's name.

No offence, James, but, seriously, can't you do it yourself?

Ums... well, any posts by you are probably long dead and buried, and other than that there is no way I can think of. I'll take a peek for you though.

I would, but I don't have access to the URL. The last time I played was... years ago. At any rate, I'll just wait until I get a vortex pass and then take him out. I could probably get one now, actually. I should do that.

Thanks bow4lyf - I was trying to get some vortex scrolls last night (didn't succeed so I'm glad you posted. BTW, anyone notice how absolutley cool the "quote" thing worked? It's all psychadelic (spelling?)!!

you spelled it right.
Now use it in a sentence like, "I like to experiment with psychadelic drugs." Yum.
On the lines of Fred though, I haven't killed him yet.
What benefits does killing fred offer? Items? Fame? Exp?
And is he always the same?

Evil Fred is killed primarily for Fame. He has very poor items (a few nectars, full/half plate, and a bill hook) and Isna, my main charrie, can wipe him out with relative ease.
Now, if you want a real challenge and lots of treasure (at the expense of getting slightly less fame), I suggest you take on the dragon.
My two cents.

I find that statement ironic. I kill Dragons like no one's business, but I'm constantly afraid of going after EF.
Of course, that's probably due to the fact that when Dragons use kill-mezz, while EFs use steal-mezz.

I don't have any frys (haven't seen any since the latest updates x.x) and I don't really feel like losing 40 quests by being 'mezzed. And as for the stealing of equipment...thats a better alternative than dying, don't you think? And thats also why you invest in Sage skills for added protection.
But meh, everyone is different. EF is just easier for me to get to and I spend less quests doing so.
Up to you.
