Im using (both are base stats ignoring enchants, and the club is not silver):
Amini Club: 111 Attack 239 Skill
and I found a
Matchlock Rifle 112 Attack 112 Skill +Blast

Is the blast useful at all? I heard it is only up until your attack is over a certain amount. If it is useful, is it worth 127 Skill?

I would go with the Amini Club, For losing the one attack point you get the 127 extra skill and once upon a time I was told that blast makes it harder to gain guts ... not too sure bout that but I would still recommend the Amini Club more also for the fact that the matchlock holds up both your left and your right locs while the Amini Club only holds up one of the locs. Hope this helps.

Go with the Amini Club. Matchlock Rifles are two-handed weapons, so your potential for Attack is higher by using the Amini Club. You will be able to equip a left-handed weapon or shield with Attack.

I coulda sworn I checked it was one handed - stupid question if its two.
if someone wants the matchlock - post here. Will keep for a day or 2 then sell to the merchant.

not to mention, if you ES both weapons, the AC will be better in all areas than the MLR
