I'm around level 46 (Level+Fighters Guild) and still get killed sometimes. I'd suggest going in with about 300A, 400D, and as much Skill as possible (+1300) - that's a bit more than what I've got. Another pointer once you got to that level - for every attack: use a Mandrake Root - that gives you first attack (unless you're super slow). I may not be the best one to answer, though,

There are multiple ways to kill the dragon in the mountains. The simplest and least risky is go in with 1k + skill and use the ginseng root/blast powder combo. Blast Powders do 40 damage per use divide the dragons hit points by 40 and round up. Use however many ginseng roots you need to get that many uses then use all your uses on blast powders.

This is still not guaranteed as he can still go first but if you go in with 1k+ skill your chances of going first greatly increase.

Also If you wish to just go in and take him on head to head your level is semi irrelevant other than giving you the ability to have more fighter guilds to gain access to higher level equipment. lvl 31 is the highest lvl equipment available and after that fighter guilds are semi useless as if you are taking more than one hit to kill your opponent you need an upgrade anyway thus making berserk which can only be used after the first turn obsolete. but that is another thread.

Go in with tharris, my main, has something like 3k skill and stupid high HP and crazy attack and defense i forget the exact numbers i know they are 4 or 500 +. And I still die if i go strictly dragon hunting it is alot of luck on top of powerful characters.

My recommendation is the ginseng/powder combo.

School? I haven't been to school since like 2000'. No I sit at work looking at network diagnostics and fixing issues for a large telecommunications company. For 9 hrs a day 5 days a week my world is inside of a 3.5'x3.5'x5' cube, I get bored. After several years of doing this work I can do it in my sleep and thus I find other ways to amuse myself while at work. Second half of this thread has been removed for purposes of politics, while I do hate them I'm still pretty good at them.

 Amazing how online communities fail to convey things like that,. I'm in my 2nd year of college going absolutely nowhere it seems. *Shrugs*

Oh, sorry, I'm totally digressing from the topic. *Apologizes profusely with an ironing pan*

You guys forget that if you use a mandrake root at the beginning of a battle, you go first almost no matter what, plus you do a beserk attack, meaning full damage. If you can kill them in one hit, then you do that and you'll win all the time, unless there's something else about dragons I don't know.

But if u click on use Mandrake, it automatically attacks.
