I've been looking around and still don't know. What skills should you get?

Don't understand what your
is, Dood. When you are accepted into a Clan, you receive certain skills from them (Check the FAQ for more information on Skills).

well id say you should have'em all
each helps develop your char
fighter helps you wake up early and you may get extra quests... also helps to have during battle
trader helps you run and tricks the beasties into being scammed by you... also helps you win in dicing
sage helps you dodge special attacks such as berzerk or ieatsu aswell as "trade" (trade that the beasts starts)
ieatsu is a first attack its a very powerful attack much like berzerk but more powerful
as for mage... it allows you to use the gems during battle (not really a good thing as you could use the powders) it also allows you to mezz which may help raise your wits
hope this helps

Sage doesnt "foresee" berzerk. just ieatsu/backstab/mezz.
Thanks I never knew Trade and Sage did those as well.
Is it like once you get 5 fighter skills you wake up better or is the more you have the higher %?

Do you guys know if like getting more trader skills increases the chance of your "merchant training" coming in handy, or is it a one time thing?
Also same with Fighter waking up early is more better%?

Once you get past six fighter, I believe benefit is maxed. For mages, it's 12. For trader, I think it does help. Just more uses per.
Ieatsu and Sage are just adding uses each time. Sage foresees any first round attack. ((I've never seen it stop a bezerk)) And Ieatsu is an attack with the power of a bezerk with the speed of a backstab.
Those are the two most expensive though. *shrugs*

yea pretty sure sage dun forsee beserk cuz i have 3f/2m/2t/7 s and even with all 7 sage i get beserked by plague wariors and gladiators. personally dun find mage skills useful other than for gaining wits. trader and fighter seem like the best and i may get a couple more soon

IMO, trader and sage are the best
after you've got at least 6 fighter and 2 mage, i just stack those trader and sage.

Maybe a couple, but they're really only useful against monsters that are too tough for you, anyway and just like Backstab or Berzerk, Sage can block it. If you can Backstab, it's always better to use that, since Backstab gives you a Skill boost when you use it. I have five Ieatsus, and I don't see myself ever getting more. If anything, I'll get more Traders.
