What does a time crystal do?

I just got a time crystal and I can't figure out what it does, any help would be great thanks.

It doesn't really do much of anything. You can either collect it or sell it to collectors.

Time Crystals can be used to bypass Evil Fred in the Vortex... though your better off collecting and selling em :-p
