What does "Dragon" and "Mystic" do? I have Dragon on a throwing dagger and Mystic on, I think, a wizard's staff or something like that.
(I entered that ? on the FAQ page, but it seems to have slipped thru the cracks).
Thanks,
Tarathilien :dice:

dragon provides an additional option when facing the dragon of trade. no more no less.
mystic gives you additional mage uses equal to lvl divided by 8

sorry that was unclear. a weapon with the dragon ability allows you to trade with the dragon like you can with the elf in the forest. or the centaur in the fields, those are the only ones i can think of off the top. as far as what it trades is beyond me i honestly have never done it. where i get the info... well there is a list of the available abilities on weapons in the faq and there is also one on the DC site

(MAY NOT BE THE BEST PLACE TO ASK)
"HAS ANYONE EVER TRADED WITH THE DRAGONS IN THE ABANDONED MINES?" IF YOU'VE TRADED WITH A DRAGON, PLEASE LET ME KNOW.
THANKS

And the Dragon will act more friendly when he utterly slays the helpless you, or sends you over a cliff. Instead of taking everything, he'll take half.

I've tried and failed back when I was lower level. he killed my ass dead for it. however, now that I'm higher up there, well, I never tried, I just kill his ass everywhere.

I used to trade with the Dragon all the time, back before the April 2002 update. It was actually pretty good back then.
But now, it costs too many marks to be worth it.

Indeed. Dragon fell of the charts a while back now. Even Bryn advised us to change it.
