F. Character Overview

Gakhan seems to be a very chaotic individual while he truly is quite lawful, doing whatever he pleases as long as it does no conflict with his unspoken code of conduct. He has no regard for people who have not earned his respect, and as such has no qualms with ignoring their commands or requests. Gakhan is intimately fascinated with shadows, pursuing knowledge of the darkness in both the arcane and physcical senses. As you get to know the elf he slowly shows himself to be very loyal to those who earn his trust, as well as greatly knowledgable. As any mage Gakhan spends much time studying, but also attunes his roguish abilities with much practice.

G. Ability

Gakhan is an accomplished assassin as well as sorcerer. His skills were mostly learned during his time at Clan Titan but his magical prowess showed itself far before that.

Gakhan has attuned himself with the shadow plane so closely that he can step into any shadow and traverse the shadow plane before stepping out of another shadow any distance from him almost instantaneously.

His blade work is most exceptional as any assassin’s would, as well as having quite the sneaking ability. His arcane prowess is quite powerful as well, however it will never be what a complete student of the arcane’s is.

H. Physiology

Gakhan is a tall elf with a muscular body which is defined quite well. His deep midnight-blue eyes catch yours as you glance him over and you can tell there is something more burning deep within, something dark and primal. His wavy black hair seems to absorb the light cast upon it and the smirk upon his elven face makes you wonder what weapons he has prepared, other than the elven longsword which he carries upon his back in a black elven sheath with engravings unrecognizable. His hair drapes past his shoulders, partly covering the mithril chain that hangs from his neck, an onyx stone set in mithril hangs from the necklace. He wears black leggings with black thigh high boots made of elven leather as well as a black, form fitting, tunic. On occasion he wears a black robe with a hood and silver runes around the edges.

Besides the longsword on his back you can see six throwing knives, made of an unknown black metal, strapped to his right thigh and another blade longer than a dagger but shorter than a shortsword attached at his left hip. The blade is the same black metal as the daggers and all the weapons on the elf have platinum handles with onyx inlaid into the metal.

J. Mannerisms

He is kind to strangers he trusts, but rarely does he trust someone he does not know intimately. He is respectful of authority he approves of as well as establishment owners such as barkeeps.

K. Properties of Choice

Gakhan has an assortment of weapons and unique items.

Elven longblade made of Mithril- Redesigned pommel and grip to match the set of shadowblades listed below. Given to Gakhan on the day he was born, never presented officially by his parents as they were killed. Named Lunistran for the moon it so often kills under.

Shadowblade set- There is a two foot dagger and six shorter throwing knives that Gakhan found in his travels. The dagger was cursed and caused Gakhan to turn and try to kill Tordek. Curse is now broken. The Blades are made from shadowsteel, a magical combination of steel and shadows during the forging of the weapons. Currently Gakhan is keeping his information channels open to learn how to create shadowsteel pieces. The throwing blades are completely black and swirl to the eye. Perfectly balanced and weighted.

Onyx Stone set in Mithril- Hung from a mithril chain, this stone is obviously magical but the powers within are unknown. Gakhan has been known to hand out chains similar to these to keep in contact with people or to repay unusual debts. Powers of the gifts vary upon the recipient.

Diablo- Gakhan’s mount, a very fiery stallion that is impossible to ride by all but the elf. The stud’s coat seems to shimmer in the shadow but is flat in the day. He will accept no saddle but has yet to dismount Gakhan from his perch.

Archon is a black wyrmling dragon that Gakhan has raised from the egg. He is under the effects of a permanent tongues spell which for some reason does not translate draconic to anyone except his master.


L. Sociology

If you do not know him Gakhan can be a very bad person to meet, however if you do know him he can be quite the valuable friend. Betray him once and forever lose that trust. Betray him and you will die.

Keep that trust and he will give his life for you, defend you if you are wrong, and protect you at whatever cost.

He particularly dislikes paladins, clerics, and druids due to their use of divine magic. Most overly talkative people are distrusted at first, talking too much is a cover up of something dangerous.
