OoC: rajahten1, you can post in the armory and/or sell that crystal war tusk in our marketplace for an upgrade. I don't know our *exact* stock, but i'm pretty sure my bid for the CWT would be a higher upgrade than what the armory can provide. Also, how many fighter's guild do you have? Max weapon level is determined by your character level + warrior guild.

Thanks for the advice Cheshire. Could you authorize me for the armory forum? I would be up for seeing what upgrades you could procure for me. I currently have 8 fighters guild, but have lots of room for more (I think I currently have 18ish open guild slots).
I have been wondering what the obsession is with crystals. Do people collect them as a status thing, or is it just that it is the best gear that can be used by lower level characters?

Before, there were no silvers and crystals. Silvers came along. They were rarer than the non-silver counter parts and generally was twice as strong than the regular. A 1.0 tier (don't worry what that means... too much) reg masa is 60a, a silver masa is 120a.

Then came crystals. They replaced a few silvers and add other stronger weapons. Same idea as silvers but even more rare and stronger.

Basically, if you find a Crystal make sure you oil it and you can trade it for better gear

You can trade it for a boatload of things.
