In Pennsylvania, it is state law that if you're in an automobile and approaching a horse-drawn vehicle or horse in general, you must pull over to the side of the road and wait for the horse to pass. In my county, by law if you steal a bar of soap and are caught, you will be punished by having to wash yourself with it until it is all used up.
