I just started playing a few weeks ago! My charachter is Skorkas; similair to Scorchas in DC.
I have been learning to fight before i do anything else, and i am at level 43. I am thinking of going for membership in a while.

mm... i played for 5 yrs now... i started playing for 2 yrs then it got boring and my priceless items got hacked. so i quit but picked up again when RS2 came out.

Hi:
I joined last night. I think people I talked to on the non-members servers lied to me. They told me that you got all these free weapons, and clothes. I was looking forward to getting all these free goodies. Needless to say, i was dissapointed, and not amused.
One good thing, is that there isn't as many people cluttering the area's up; it is easier to train now! Maybe I will find more advantages the longer I play.

I just wanted to ask, bow4lyf...if he has any spare cash for a first time player!? I have been playing a few weeks, and i have addy armour and and a rune scimmy...but it would really help to have a few extra coins. Maybe you could give me a few pointers on how to make some money also...seeing as all i have been doing is fighting.

I advise on merchating to get money.

Merchant: Buy items for less money and sell it for more.

A tip i have for it thou is that if u have patience, you can buy small sums for newbies for less money than usual because newbies just find it and keep it. After you have collected like. coal for example, 1k coal, sell it and then mass merchant.

Lobbie is also an hot item, you can get them for about 100gp per piece by buying it from fishers that just want exp at the docks. Run the lobs back to the fally banks and go back to the docks again. When you have tons of them, sell at varrock bank. ppl buy from 225 - 275 per lob.

If you're just starting and dont have too much money, you can always kill chicken for feathers (sell for 3 - 10gp) and exp.

Try not to merchant special items like holiday or trimmed armor. They quickly drop in price.

As for you, with addy and rune scimmy, I can say ur well started to get full rune. But try to train on other stats like mining, fishing, and WC, they're the money makers.

Many people will try to scam you, welcome to the MMORPG world. Always check the second trade window and makesure you get wt u want. Visit the Secure & Safety Guidelines for Scamming and you will find vital information. Also try the Security Stronghold to test your knowledge about scamming and how to protect your account.

Hi:
I have you added...I added all the players that replied in the message board here.
All my lvls are 46; hit, att, str, def...all but prayer...that is 36. My total lvl is 235. That is all I have been doing...just training and fighting. I am down underneath the barbarian town fighting the Minataurs; the rune essance and iron bolts bought me my addy and scimmy; we will see what the pure essance on the members sells for!
I wanted to get my att, str and def to around 100 before I started anything else. It would be nice to have some really nice armour for when that happens! Then maybe I will start on the other stuff.

... the max is 99 for ur intrest... and highest combat lvl is 124 for ptp and 123 for ftp
