Yes, I play a card game.

With 100% honesty, I can say that I have the greatest win percent out of everyone in my town that I have gone against, and in that the best in my school. I may only have one deck, but I have worked on it a lot. It's a lot of fun, and I always laugh as I play.

Does anyone else here play?

I play

I mostly play tournaments these days, legacy and vintage, (Type 1.5 and 1, repectively) though there arent many tournaments around here these days.

If we are going to take a moment to offer up collection sizes and accomplishments, the I'll try to be humble but:

I own around 1.5k cards or so at the moment, mostly because I can't get rid of them :P No one seems to want to buy the ones I don't want and thats alot of cards...

I own about 10 decks that have outright slaughtered local tournaments on a regular basis, and am the sole reason one of the organizers enforces the time limit after about 2 years of not bothering :D (3.5 hour semifinal game 1 anyone) Along with building up enough in winnings to rent movies at the shop for free for a year in that same match :P

One last little fun bit since I don't brag often :P I had the opportunity to go to florida when I was 15 for a major tournament with a 250k scholarship prize table, but couldn't go because I didn't have the cash :/ The winner of the world champs that year played the same type of deck I had, so I'd like to think I would have done well ;)

I will pretty much take an open challenge from anyone for a game :P Casual or pro level, type 1 or 1.5, constructed please.

If you don't want to play I'm also good for deck advice and such, and have the location of a free magic online program for anyone that wants it.

Could you please send me the URL of the online game? I never heard of it before, but it sounds pretty cool. :)

I've played Dedman on that online thingy, and I will again soon.

I'm not too sure who won, but I'm betting I did.

After I kill hi.. erm, after someone wins again, I'll post for the victor.

http://www.magic-league.com/download/apprentice.php go nuts :P

And Zip, as I recall, it was a billion point fireball that I had the luxury of picking targets for, followed by a 46 point goblin charbelcher blast turn 4 (ugh... that was such a slow kill for that deck...) ;) But yes, I did conceed before either resolved :P

Edit: My next opponent gets to deal with a worse combo anyway 8-)

Arg, you guys are crazy. I have an outdated (read: elf) deck. I once had over 600 life with it. Woo.

My deck is an elf deck, and an awesome one.

Wait. You've only had 600? I'm sure you can do better.

Once, I had at least 2,900. It was awesome.

Oh, well just over 600 was the point at which my opponent gave up. :P

That is always fun.

Ominous, Curulan says that you should get your butt into chat. So go. :P

Elf decks are in no way shape or form outdated Ominous, I run elfball for fun and Zip's elf deck is nuts in it's own right too. If you are playing for fun then nothing is outdated anyway :P

Also, Dedman, if that game continued, you would have died. :P

A billion point fireball does tend to end games quickly zip :P

It sounds like you are offering a game though, care to see if you can run over me with elves?

Maybe, I'm a bit busy now. I'd love to play against you again though. Just don't run away this time. :P
