.::As Joe levitated the boards back to their proper spots, gus used his polymorphing ability to make that patch of the floor as good as new. He would have done the entire tavern floor but he deemed it un neccessary as it held too many memories.::

Whos up for some cider on Joe's tab since he is the one who surprisingly showed up... he owes us for leaving like that

[Ominous]

I finally got back up without falling through again.

"Hey, I'd be happy to mooch off of you, Joe! Thanks for your support of Gus' idea by saying nothing." I walked to the bar and ordered a drink in the name of Joe.

[zipcat]

*zip silently wished Gus would stop talking about her pregnancy. As she watched him polymorph the floor, she hoped no one would be standing on it in an hour. With Gus and Ominous turning their attention to drinks, zip looked back to Joe to answer his earlier question.*

"I'm alright I guess," she paused, "What about yourself, Joe?"

[Joe]

"Oh, I'm not bad at all. I've enjoyed my travels immensely. I really needed the time away from everything. But I'm glad to be back, at least for a little while." He smiled lightly, but the weight of the world seemed to be in his eyes.

*zip here and there as Joe spoke. She wondered what he had done that was so much fun, or what else happened to put the weight in his eyes. But she didn't bring it up; that was the kind of thing you talk about if the other person needed to. It was easy to be happy he was back, but she hoped he could stay and enjoy himself. She ordered another cider before replying, and offered Joe the stool next to hers as she turned to him again.*

"I am glad you are back, too, Joe." She smiled a tiny bit more, "What fun things did you do while you were away?"
