how much harder are samurai than shogun?
im murdering everything in shangala now. still afriad to attack samurai tho.
might go to azteca soon but first time i went a jag fly swatted me and one hit ko'd me.

I'm not 100% sure on this, but I think shogun is actually more dangerous than samurai. So far samurai can't kill me in one hit (as long as I have sage skill remaining to dodge its ieastu, and it doesn't use ieastu every time either), but shogun gets me with its berserk from time to time.

Yeah, I'd say the Shogun's are far more harder than Samurais. Just stock up on Sages for the Sammys and u'll be fine with them, but can't do that with the Shogun.

I would have to agree, of the two, the monster that can "get you" more often is the shogun.

wow haha ive been avoiding them for no reason then. shogun beserk cant one hit me nemore so iaetsu shouldnt be too rough

whats the order of difficulty of azteca monsters?
i took about 100 quests in azteca today and died once from a jag. could take priests jags and warriors no problem. avoided anacondas tho.

This seems to be the general questing strategy in azetca:

Priest - runaway, no good drops
Snake - feed then runaway. Only good drop is snake oils but you can oils from better places
Jag - feed then kill
Warrior - bribe then kill some will say, I say kill because the SAC is freakin awesome =P

o thnx ive just been killing them all. priests give me about 1-2 fairies a day and jags usually kill me once a day.

Once you've mastered Azteca, the best thing you can do at that point is hunt Dragons/Fred for Fame, or go after rare and high-stat equipment. And wait for the next version of DC.
