(OOC: Forgive me for not posting sooner. My activity here is fleeting. Lately, I'm hitting the books again. Took a break this last week to start drawing a Titan/Dragon Court comic. If you're interested, yay!... If not.. Ah, well. Carrie & Lemac, I'd love it if you could both be in the comic-- new image or old does not matter.
Also, I've decided to just RP post with one name as my different characters. I will eventually have a sig that shows them all. Jadewik is sorta in the works. I may or may not develop her to RP as a character. Otherwise, I'll be posting as my different characters-- which might actually condense banter a bit... only make it look like I'm talking more to m'self... but we all know I'm a little crazy anyway. Heh. =)
So yeah... Jadewik = carn & Ebon-Ashe in RP posts... so without further ado...)
Carnelianfire and Ebon-Ashe enter the tavern deep in conversation. Carn's brow was furrowed and she was speaking with her hands, waiving them wildly about as if it would give her words more meaning.
"Why, Ebon? Why won't you let me ride Argile? I'm good with horses. I've taken care of Argile before too. He knows me!"
"Carn, my dear, he'd have to actually LIKE you in order to let you ride him," Ebon smirked in response as she pushed past carn and made her way to the bar. Ebon tossed a couple marks on the bar and ordered a cup of hot cocoa for carn. One would think that this was a friendly maneuver-- Ebon did it to get carn to stop talking.
When the drink came, Ebon deftly slipped a small amount of sedative into the drink and shoved it into the hands of the still yapping elf, "Here drink this you twit. May the heavens forbid you remember to breathe while drinking, though I wouldn't regret if you'd drown."
The comment stung and carn pursed her lips as she scowled at Ebon.
"You're mean!"
Turning quickly, carn huffed over to the nearest empty table to brood in her cocoa. She grumbled to herself and took a sip of the drink. It warmed her instantly. That's why she loved cocoa so much... it was her comfort beverage. Non-alcoholic and full of chocolate. Who wouldn't like it?
About half through her mug of cocoa, carn's eyes began to droop. She rubbed her eyes and set her head on the table.
From across the room, Ebon smiled. "Thank Hades she finally shut up."
Turning back to the bar to procure a drink of her own, Ebon-Ashe noticed a familiar face-- Courtesan Lemac. She was with another woman with features of a bird who looked vaguely familiar, but she couldn't quite place the woman's face to a name. The women looked ready to leave the tavern and Ebon wanted to learn some more about the other woman before approaching her.
