Need opinions on a predicament

I'm a lil bit stuck right now in a bind, Me and my ex broke up and we had been together like 3 years so we got alot of things during the relationship together and now I'm stuck in a lil bit of a rut so to speak. One of the major things we got in or relationship was my truck and also my CPU which Im on currently. Well the truck is mine hands down cuz she was breaking up w/ me while I was in the process of getting the truck and I paid for it by myself so thats an easy one. The CPU on the other hand is my prob, It hurts to say it but Im a nice guy even during a break up that really messes w/ me I keep my cool w/ them and am very giving and understanding .... sadly to say sometimes, and trust me I'm not all high on my horse bout this either, its just after being told it so many times cuz of how nice I am after all the messed up breakups Ive been in I just started believing it too, lol. Well since we both helped get the CPU to begin w/ should I just let her have it since she's moving out of state w/ barely any possesions or should I keep it or pay her half of the original price or vice versa ? I get paid good as of now cuz I just got a raise big time and so it would prolly be easier for me to just save up and get a new one figureing she's just got out of the military and needs to find a job and all. On this Id like whatever opinions I can get cuz Im stuck on it cuz I like the cpu and its the only I got but at the same time I hardly get on while home cuz Im always at work so yeah tell me what ya'll think. thx

I suppose it kind of depends upon how good the computer is, but to be honest I'd probably just let her have it if you're in a much better predicament than her. It sounds like you're going to be well off, but sometimes money is money. It's really up to you in the end.

If, like you said, it really wouldn't be that big of a deal to buy your own computer later on down the road, I say suck it up and give her the old one.

I'm a bit concerned, though - just wanted to make sure you're not asking your DC buddies for legal advice .

As far as opinions, I'd go with the previous replies. As far as legal concerns, I'd go to an attorney.

Well its not so much a divorce cuz where not married .. we were just engaged ... but I think I will be giving her the cpu ... thx for all the input guys.
