I am curious about what this thread is talking about. I have seen the spambot posts, and have wondered why you keep getting them, however, I am not at all familiar with email being sent from them. Since I have a variation of phpbb running at New Dawn, I am very anxious to hear about this new problem. I will try to catch someone on IM to ask about this.

when a spam post appears, it is the general procedure for people to "report this thread", and when this happens an email is sent to all the moderators notifying them that a thread has been reported. thats the emails we are talking about

I think it may be just the people in the usergroup "board moderators" who get the emails

Actually, I'm glad they got reported so fast-like. I am and was able to take care of the reported posts quickly. =)
