Question regarding gear

Postby Devlin » August 28th, 2006, 2:49 pm

Hello Folks:

Back in the day my gear was considered very good (old players like The Judge, Doggy Style, Brynn (of the many hats lol) etc all had comprable eq.
As I don't know anything about the new stuff (new stuff can be used loosley as it has been probably 2 years or more since I quested) I was wondering how this stacks up and what/where I would find better and what do I need to kill to get it.

Head - Miner's Cap 3a 15d
Body - Koutetsu 35a 115d
Feet - Asaura 4a 36d
Right - Silver Masamune 155a 9d
Left - Suriken 41a 1d

I have 800+ Guts, 1k+ wits, 1k+ charm

Any information would be most appreciated.

Regards,
Devlin

Alright, here's a crash course:

Remember how there wasn't an enchanting limit? Well, ANY gear from that era are now called tique and if it was enchanted, then those items are worth a lot.

Enchanting now raises att, def AND skill, but to a limit.

Now a days, the "suit of chose" is:

Spiked helm
Dragon Scale Jacket
Silver Sea slippers or Crystal Swift boots
Silver Amini Club

and there is a toss up for lefty between high end shurks, silver or crystal jaguar fangs and crystal gauntlets.

This is of course, if you are not wearing tiques.

As for your gear, i can update everything. Sorry to say, but the only piece that is good is the kout.

And the only reason why Dragon Scale Jackets are the armor of choice is because people are trading all the hacked dragon scales and junk for them. Litterally making thousands a day. So if you do not have junk piles in your storage, then go for the good ol' koetsu.
