The name itself originates from an ancient sect of lore seekers and magi who sought to gather the world's knowledge in one place, the Lorewardens. The massive library is a treasure trove of information, boasting the largest collection of written lore in existence.
The Hall itself is extensive marble complex, spanning three levels. Scribes and librarians tend to the day to day archiving, while the public is free to come here to read, take out scrolls or books on loan, or to research here, without charge.
Found within are volumes upon volumes of the secrets of magic, science, developments in philosophy, religion, statecraft, and invention. The vast library collected over the years by the Order of the Shining Star on various campaigns and travels was later moved here.
