Miyasami Toronaga was born into one of Shangala's oldest dating noble families. Growing from a warlord cheftian or daimyo, he consolidated his power uniting the provinces through conquest to take the title of Shōgun, fuedal lord of Shangala.
Lord Toronaga launched a massive invasion campaign known as the Tides of Darkness against Dragon Court's mainland in an attempt to bring the known world under his military rule.
