I'm getting excited about the holiday and it's not even October yet. I don't know what I'm going to carve or sculpt into my pumpkins this year. I have no idea what I'll dress up to go as either... argh!

But... here's a little treat from last year... one of the two pumpkins I sculpted:

I was about to post about Halloween yesterday, but you beat me to it

I can't wait either, I don't know what I'm going to do, but one thing I am sure of; I'll make pie. Lots of pies.

I just have to remember not to throw the guts from the pumpkins into my flower garden to use as compost; the seeds always sprout like weeds. Sadly, even though the vines grow well, the pumpkins shrivel in the sun and die.

Your pumpkin looks so cool though!

Pumpkin....Pumpkin pie!! Honestly the first thing that popped into my head when I saw the pumpkin is, "hmm, I should make some pumking pie" and then I realized how cool the carving itself is. I definately L-O-V-E LOVE halloween. I've already got my costume planned and I have to start sewing it soon. YAY FOR HALLOWEEN!

Halloween where horrific, mis-shapped ugly women can be accepted into public. What a great day, and you girls dont even have to shave for the occasion, after all Im sure its a habit your not looking forward to starting.

I think I'll do what I did last year.

Wear straight black with a black mask, climb into a tree branch, and ambush people as they're walking by and demand candy. Of course, I end up giving them some of my candy to bribe them to not tell anyone. After a few minutes, it seems as if everyone in the neighborhood is suddenly walking past my tree waiting for candy

*Shakes head*

Maybe this time I should wait with some Black Cats that I have left over from the 4th.

Only a week? Err...

Halloween!

I need ideas for things to carve or sculpt into my p-kin this year. Last year, I half-drew up an Anubis carvy-thing before changing my mind last-minute to do the skull (above) and screaming head in 3-D. Course... I want to do 3D again this year, but ... ugh... I need better tools.

Any good carving ideas?

Zuka and his skeletal army. That should keep you busy for a very, very long time. That and you'd need alot of coffee. Starbucks will become your best friend. Seriously. You'll put all of the employ's children through college, pay off their car and house notes, and pay for their bills.

lol, I'm not too good, but I like to make weird faces on my pumpkins. I've never tried to do something in 3D, but I might this year, hrm.. maybe of a ghoast. That'd look cool.

Browse the Monster Manual? Dunno. How about a pirate or the skull and cross bones? Maybe you did that though, I can't remember now.

Must say that Annubis trumps the pirate idea though. Damn, that's just tough to beat.
