The Blades of Shadow serve to keep law and order, protecting the nations of the Dragon Court from tyranny and strife. For understandable political reasons, Titan cannot claim any knowledge of this group and so the Blades of Shadow are a non-entity, performing the art of death with complete invisibility. They are masters of the profession. When combined in total, the years of which they have served in their deadly art sums to over a millennium.

The only true thing known about the Blades of Shadow is that they do not exist. They are phantoms that have been created to scare children and men alike in myth and legend. However, it is known by any sage or politician that peace cannot be achieved without war. Hence even the most distinguished and strongest nations of the Dragon Court, such as Titan cannot do without the need to eliminate their enemies when diplomacy and negotiation fail.

The group was founded during the birth of Titan and has existed since. Men who call Titan their savior for freeing their lands or saving their homes from the greed and corruption of evil nations are rulers who enslaved and destroyed its people. The hearts of the members are cold, made stone, by the torment and suffering that they have seen through the cruelty of war. They seek to stop such strife and anguish from existing before it can ever start.

Shrouded in secrecy, even the highest members of Titan’s military system do not know of their true existence. Only Curulan Angelicos, the General of the Unified Armed Forces of Titan does, for it is he who commands them. The members live dispersed throughout the nation living dual lives, holding professions while others are vagabonds. They are contacted through secret means. The members of the Blades of Shadow know nothing about the other members, where they live, or who they are. Their only contact with the other members is during an assignment, during which they are masked and may not reveal their identities.

Legend holds that powerful magical devices aid in the concealment of their presence and identity from their foes in addition to their incredible skill making them truly a group to be feared, if they were to exist...
